It's going to smell amazing in Rolesville during the Annual BBQ and Bands Festival! We are expecting a terrific crowd. The Rolesville BBQ and Bands Festival is held by the Rolesville Chamber of Commerce and will last from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28th at 198 Scarboro Street, Rolesville 27571 (between Rolesville Town Park/Sanford Creek Elementary School, off Granite Falls Blvd). The BBQ and Bands Festival will feature live music, vendors for shopping, a variety of food trucks, a selection of beer and wine, some of the best BBQ in North Carolina available for tastings ($10 tasting wristband required), and will be hosted by our very own favorite Emcee Bob Garner!
How are your grilling skills? Get your backyard team together and come join the fun! Let the people choose your BBQ as the best! We have room for 15 teams. There will be 3 cash prizes: Champion $1000; People's Choice Award $500; blind judging Runner-up $250. Sampling will begin at 1:30 pm.
This family-friendly event offers free admission. BBQ sampling wristbands will be sold at The Rolesville Chamber welcome tent during the festival. Please note that sampling time begins at 1:30 pm. So bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets and plan to spend your afternoon with us, eat and drink, shop and dance the day away. Our bands will be performing from 1 pm – 6 pm. There will be a kids play area as well. We will have something for everyone!
